[Panther Thunder]

Here are my thoughts on this game. Hats off to Pikeville for winning, Kasongo can dominate if he would quit focusing on the students hackling him the entire game. He is a beast on the boards. Rowe is a really nice player, he has a nice game. The foul was actually called on # 5 Silvers but even Kasongo thought it was on him and started to walk off the floor lol and looked stunned when they announced they gave it to someoen else. As far as the inbounds play at the end of the game, how do you not call that in a game like this.? Both teams played their tails off and yet the refs had to do something that would leave a mark on this game. Pikeville came out hott and stunned LC,but the Dawgs battled through adversity and came back strong. I loved calling this game. LC keep your heads up, i think you guys did a great job!!!

There were some strange calls along both baselines. I could not see at the end, but Hamilton did say he thought he was out of bounds when he received the ball, and as long as Kasongo was out of bounds it is legal. Like I said though, I could not tell.

Lawrence County has a very tough young team. They all handle it and can score. They are as good in transition as any team I have seen in this region since the SV teams a few years ago. They are extremely well coached and have a great few years ahead of them and will be a pain to the 15th for a while.
