Bell starts four juniors and has a senior (Hudson) who plays a lot. They do have three freshmen who usually play, including one (Woolum) who starts.

3-point shooting was the difference in this one. Bell had 7 of 18 and HCHS was 0 for 2. Both teams had 19 field goals overall and HCHS hit 16 free throws compared to 11 for Bell.
I think the odds are usually in favor of getting to the basket and drawing fouls. It doesn't always work, especially when guys like Potter and Patterson shoot so well.

7 for 18 from 3 is good shooting, but not great. Potter is an excellent shooter and will always shoot well so it's not like they surprisingly shot well? As for their youth, Woolum is a Freshman, P Collett is a freshman and I am pretty sure there is another freshman in their top 7 or 8. As for the odds of FORCING shots and drawing fouls? I just don't believe forcing shot after shot is ever a good plan!!! When u get out scored 21-0 from 3 and u don't even make an effort to get your only shooter a couple good looks from 3 is just not good basketball IMO
