The Commodores looked impressive in this one with the difference being the two bigs inside. Johnson and Cornette absolutly dominated the paint with about 40 points and 20 boards between them. Also Beverly looked very good with 20 and 8 dimes. I think the Commodores would be playing in the championship game if they had not ran out of gas against a stout Lafayette team the night before. They will have to play Scott Co at 1030am tommorow morning on their homecourt but if they can pull out a win it will be a very good showing in the tournament. It appears to me that the Commodores are just now hitting their stride and will be a tough out for anybody the rest of the year. When they are hitting the outside shot they can play with anybody.
