You realize that LCHS enrollment is down under 600 students now. It's like they are some huge school. I know the official numbers will say more than 600, but that includes all the students on homebound, and trust me I've been told there are a LOT of homebound/alternative students this year. So, they are under 600.

I think a lot of the reason people are upset is not the size of Lawrence County, but the fact that the tournament used to be only truly SMALL schools. Now it is approaching half of the schools in the state. I think the people miss the tradition of a bunch of class A schools competing when there were many more class A schools, before the mass consolidations that have occurred. JMO.
