Final as the Bulldogs win the Covington City Championship. Holmes was up 48 to 23 at the half, then it was 58 to 48 at the end of the 3rd when Holy Cross scored 25 in the quarter. Holy Cross tied the game with 1:25 left in the 4th. Holmes took the lead with a 3 pointer with 1:11 left. Holy Cross had 2 tries at tying the game, both hitting off the rim.
Chris Englemon led Holmes with 21 points, James Bolden and Daquan Palmer added 16 points each. Tony Campbell led Holy Cross with 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Holmes stays undefeated at 16-0, Holy Cross is now 7-6
