Oh, I thought we were talking about viewpoints and beliefs. You know, things that make each and everyone of us different.

You and Cal may have jobs that dictate how you respond (when asked) on national subjects such as gun control, or you may have jobs that dictate your personal beliefs on subjects outside of your job. I don't, nor do I want one.

My point is this...Pitino responded (without hesitation) that he doesn't see any need for guns. Point blank and to the point. I don't agree, but I respect his position. The King avoided looking like a politician in those situations by saying "I'm just a singer". Cal danced all around "thinking" he could appease both sides and IMO sounded like a mealy mouthed politician. No big deal, just giving my take on their comments is all.

I like Coach Cal. It's not like this has changed my view of him in any way. Just an observation of his remarks on a particular subject, nothing more.

You can please some of the people some of the time but, you're in trouble if you think you can please all of the people all of the time. Right?
