Why does Gasol have to go?
I've heard D'antoni talk about his plan for when Nash gets back and Gasol is heavily involved.
Starters:
Nash, Kobe, Meeks, Gasol, Howard
First sub will be MWP for Gasol - This will let them run a little more and MWP is strong enough to defend the four and can space the other teams defense a little further than Gasol.
That will allow Gasol to come in and run the 5 for the second unit.
