Well I have taken amoxicillin before so I don't think that was it..
And after I stopped taking the meds was when the breakouts began.
Still no breaks outs now, I do not believe it was amoxicillin it could have been the hydrocodon(sp)..

I told them to prescribe the weakest cause' like I said I had never taken anything like that.
To be honest it took the soreness and throbbing away from the gums but besides that I wasn't sleepy or high or anything like that.(And I know what RIUTG is thinking, no I'm not a fatty I am 5"11 190lbs.) And I only say that because I'm no doctor but the bigger the person the harder the drug they may prescribe?

I was also thinking maybe the rashes where a sort of detox from the pain meds? I know that might sound a little off but I mean I haven't ever taken any so maybe my body was trying to dispose of it in its own way after I was off of it? And maybe the hospital in Hazard doesn't know their stuff that well like everyone says.

Sweetheart, Hydrocodone is anything but weak. If you've never taken it before I'm surprised you're "awake" now! nicker: It does do a great job with things like an inflammatory process, that would make you sore, so that makes great sense to me. As far as taking meds before and not getting a reaction, that doesn't mean a hill of beans. You can take Amoxi for years with no reaction, and then one day have a doosey of a reaction!! Your detox theory holds some water, too.

I don't know anything about Hazard ARH, but sounds to me like they gave you just what you needed.
