John Hardin had a great gameplan and played better than the Purples tonight. Bowling Green got lucky and scored 76 yard hook and ladder play on 4th and 9 with under two minutes to play. Coach Wallace decided to go for the win with a two point conversion and it worked. That was a gutsy call. The Purples defense held JH scoreless in the 2nd half and saved the offense's butt. John Hardin is a very good football team and probably deserved to win the game tonight, but fate was not on their side. One of the best games I've ever seen.*

"Probably deserved" bowling green had two big passing plays. That was about it. That was my first time watching both teams this year. John was clearly the better team. They went for that 2 point conversion and didn't convert.
BG is solid but was outplayed in every aspect of the game. I am sure jh is sick how that one ended.

Read my first post again big mouth. I gave JH a lot of credit and said they probably should have won the game. I don't think our defense was outplayed, because they were on the field most of the night and came up with stops, when the had to. They held JH scoreless in the 2nd half. You can't say the same for JH.
I feel the need to defend my team when some know it all runs their mouth about them being dominated in every aspect of the game. We got lucky, I know, but we are still playing.
