John Hardin had a great gameplan and played better than the Purples tonight. Bowling Green got lucky and scored 76 yard hook and ladder play on 4th and 9 with under two minutes to play. Coach Wallace decided to go for the win with a two point conversion and it worked. That was a gutsy call. The Purples defense held JH scoreless in the 2nd half and saved the offense's butt. John Hardin is a very good football team and probably deserved to win the game tonight, but fate was not on their side. One of the best games I've ever seen.*
