The subject of the emails was Petraeus. That is what made the investigation a federal case. Surely, you understand that somebody at a much higher level than an FBI field agent would have been informed and asked to approve of the investigation of an affair involving the CIA Director. Again, if the affair was a national security issue that required that the president be informed, then why was it done after most of the votes were in, when the affair had been known for months?

Do you believe that the timing of the disclosure of Petraeus's affair - after the election and a few days before Petraeus was slated to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee - was just another coincidence?

In one post you get on to me for jumping to conclusions on another thread, then you do the very same thing here. When are you going to realize you are just a busted out mine engineer, turned computer programmer, and not some high level political scientist?
