UK will only spend money to land a "has been" or "never was". Which is why they went with Rich Brooks and then Joker Phillips.

If they really wanted to make the program a championship contender as Barnhart says, they need to get an established coach. I like the idea of the Louisiana Tech coach. Being able to create a Top 25 team in the midst of having to compete with LSU in recruiting has to say something.
