The rule is the rule, but I think if most people are honest they would say that they have seen coaches, and officials look the other way on this point.

I don't disagree with the point that Jewell was trying to make, however I do think he could have handled it in a much more subtle way, honestly like a lot of coaches there is nothing subtle about Steve Jewell.

The really sad part of the whole situation is that the people who have no business being involved in it are at the center of it. Some people are using it as a motive to try and remove the coach. One or two are using it to kiss the coaches *** in an effort to get closer to getting playing time for their babies. (just look at some of the social media)

I would like to think the administration would do the right thing (this time) and just sweep it under the rug, it is nothing new to them, and move on. They have swept more serious infractions under the carpet so why not support your incumbent coach who has been loyal to the school, climbing the ladder to his present position.
