According to The Wrestling Observer, the decision to reveal Devon as a member of Aces & Eights was reportedly made towards the last minute, and was done within the last two weeks.
Similar to Matt Morgan's TNA situation, Devon's contract with TNA did indeed expire, and the company has been looking for ways to bring talent back in.
