The crowd was treated to an offensive explosion and a barn burner in Anderson County, as the host Bearcats edged the visiting Colts behind quarterback Zach Carmichael.
The junior signal caller completed 21 of 28 passes for 373 yards and four touchdowns. Junior wide receiver Ross Cox was his favorite target, grabbing 10 passes for 221 yards and all four touchdowns through the air.
Carmichael added two more scores on the ground to help the Bearcats improve to 6-1. Junior running back Devin Taylor did his part to keep the Colts in the game, racking up 335 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 36 carries.
