Good topic. I think it today's game if one can execute similar blocking schemes for a variety of plays (trust me it can be done) then i would want to have balance. If your players can run and throw just enough to make the defense honor the pass then you can Run Wild.

Defense is dependent on the kids your area typically produces. If you have lots of speed probably the 4-4; lots of lineman then mayne a 50 front.
