Since were talking past tense central had some teams in the mid 90's that could've beaten them i think, they bested trinity 3 times in a 4 year span 94-97, but that's when there were 4 classes & Highlands was 3A, Central was 4A albeit playing with a 3A student population. Central has about 250-300 boys in the school but they have a total of 120 in the football program. Central does have the benefit of open enrollment. However racial guidelines keep their student population to 3A level as they have the limit of African Americans allowable . In order for central to move up to 6A more White & (other) would have to apply to the school , which offers majors in business , medicine , Law , & Vetinary sciences , with a fine academic reputation & high college acceptance percentage.
