I wasn't being sensitive at all. The playoff record doesn't bother me one bit....all that matters is the coming Friday. My simple point, which somehow passed right by you, was that despite the record the Lakers were ousted by the runner up in 2009 & 2010, not really different than the Mighty Briar Jumpers. It just so happened that we didn't get to play those weaker teams prior to that game. In our district was Franklin Simpson & ACS, and our district matched up against Lone Oak. Teams that Somerset couldn't have beat in any of those years.

I'm also familiar with the outcomes of the last two times the Lakers & Briar Jumpers played, but in 2011 we had two common opponents (Whitley & Pulaski Co). The Lakers beat Whitley 30-0 & Pulaski 56-33. The Jumpers lost to Whitley 27-21 & Beat Pulaski 33-20. So, I feel quite good about my team and where they stand. And I didn't need to go into one of the bunny threads spewing crap to do so.

Since you like to compare scores how can you say Somerset couldn't have beaten Franklin Simpson and ACS? Didn't Somerset beat the Mighty Lakers by 43 in 2010 while those two teams beat Russell County by 36 points COMBINED in 3 games. It's a shame that Russell County chose not to continue the series after that 2010 game...It could have been settled on the field.
