Spurlock was upset at the Big Sandy News because at the time they reported the story, nothing had been announced, nor was it official. They reported a rumor as fact, as a story. IMO, that's poor journalism. Did things pan out one day later? Yes. But at the time, there were no facts stating he was the new coach at Perry Central.
I spoke with him a little bit ago, and he said Perry didn't officially offer him the job until yesterday. He had to meet with the administration at Sheldon Clark and work things out with them before committing to PCC.

The way I look at it. The Big Sandy News reported the truth! Where is he now? PCC!!!!!!!! Way to go BSN......you guys know the story before it happens!!!!!!!
