Pulaski County, Somerset, and Southwestern will all face off on the gridiron
#22
One of the problems I have with all 3 local schools playing in the DM Bowl is that neither county school has enough seating or parking to hold the crowds. The Correll Bowl has twice the seating and twice the on location parking and in most years neither of those is enough.

I would rather play these games week 0 and 3 or 1 and 4 with two weeks between games.

As far as not playing either school on the road since the Correll Bowl started, both county schools wanted 1/3 of the Correll gate ($6-8,000) which they got and then a full gate at their place. Somerset gets 1/3 of the Correll and that's it...never sounded fair to me.

As far as home filed advantage I think all three schools have won enough games in the Correll Bowl to dispel any notion of their being a home field advantage for Somerset.
