Honestly--I think that they would not have had anymore than 2. (From the early 90's). And the more likely number is 1. I think that we were: 1. lucky, 2. A better staff that had the ability to scheme--gameplan better against teams like Bardstown/Harrodsburg, etc.

My thinking here is this--there were some good NCC teams during the early 90's. But they really didn't hit their stride until 2000 (when they changed the offense). If they would have done that earlier--they could have won more than 2.
