Carr carried a few FB runs for chunks, but Hatfield and May were also beasts at FB and I can remember Carr having one carry at HB, and it was a 6 point scoot.

Starting offensive line was Taylor, Jude, May, Macky Francis, and Drew Mullins. Mike Barnes came in at tackle for Mullins a few plays in. I'd say the first four are pretty solidified. Taylor, Jude, and May looked like men among boys I watched Zach Taylor several times push lineman 20+ yards down the field and not stopping until the whistle blew. Macky Francis also looked very good. Barnes look like he gets a little tired and Drew Mullins is good but needs work. I'd say with 12 days to go until season's begin that 4 of the line spots are solved with the tackle position up for grabs. Let's not forget if something happens with Macky, Tuffy Willis can play center.

have no doubt 0304 tuffy can and will play center, he didnt practice last week and thats why he wasnt in that much, we'll see more of him this week. its a wide open battle at center and if tuffy keeps up the way he has been this season he might be an option for tackle, drew has the heart but has a long way to go, barnes needs some intensity. the big 3 may, taylor, jude being an old o-lineman i can say the coaches picked on them during film monday, the halfbacks none impressed me friday exept carr the one play he took from hb, carrs hard work the off season is showing. the rest were looking for wide open grass to run on, always looking for the edge. carr looked good at fullback, hatfield is going to be fine but he has fumbled all camp, and fumbled on the goal line friday, thats just youngness coming out, he is a player, may had two carries for about forty yards, the one he broke he may have scored if he would have run to the grass instead of cutting inside and trying to run over three defender, thats running pissed off. d looked good i thought, and thats what i expected, the only hit all night that echoed off the mountains, was a tackle made by timmy may, the only thing with timmy is he is kind of wild, and he has to be more disipline to earn playing time. all that i think we are the best aaa team in the state and will only get better
