De Ja Vu back to 2004 with this bracket setup.

Here's a little history lesson from when the brackets were set up almost identical to how they are this year:


First Round
Johnson Central beats Allen Central and Tyler Turner with at the time a record run scoring game.

Semi Finals
Johnson Central edges a 30-6 state ranked Pikeville team with Chase Huffman on the mound.


Finals
Johnson Central beats Paintsville in a district championship rematch to take the regional title.




Johnson Central then sweeps a 30-6 state ranked Hazard team lead by a previously undefeated 12-0 Steven Sizemore on the mound to take the District 7 Semi State title.

Johnson Central defeats state ranked Ashland Paul Blazer in the opening round of the state tournament.

We'll not talk about the next game (lol), but I'll take a final 4 with this group any day of the week.

Watch out boys, I looked up in the sky last night and the moon and the stars are all lined up right now.:biggrin:

This was a year before I started closely following, but it had to have been heartbreaking for Pikeville. Beat JC three times, and drop the one when it counts.

Just looking through those schedules, I really miss the schools that have been lost to consolidation. Just not the same feel anymore.
