Faculty group critical of Kentucky's approach to scheduling

They aren't as common as people hating on Calipari....but Calipari has been the ugly duckling of the NCAA coaching world for years now. The media has hated him since his UMass days and it hasn't changed. UK fans love him - He brings a ton of good talent in, he wins ballgames, does commercials, gets out in the community, and most of all he has hung two final four banners and a championship banner in three years. That's what you want out of a coach but his history with the media has been pretty rocky and that will take some time to change (if it ever does).

and anyway...
the mainstream media hasn't said anything negative about UK's scheduling either.
Jerry Tipton wrote an article about some professors getting pissed....

Jerry Tipton is a LONG way from mainstream-national media and his criticism of Calipari might as well be overlooked at this point.

A very small handful. The media lovefest with Duke started around 20 years ago. Kentucky has never been their equal when it comes to the "national media". At least not in the last 20 years.
