Powell scored there lone 2 runs in the 6th on an RBI Triple by Bolduc and she scored on a wild pitch to make it 2-0




Estill County (3)

Estill scored in the 6th, 7th and 8th.

C. Rawlins got it started in the 6th with a lead off home run.

Estill was down to there last strike and K. Puckett came up huge with an RBI Single to tie it at 2-2 in the 7th.

S. Arthur grounded out and the Runner on 3rd (K. Flynn) came home on the throw to first, the throw to home was late and Flynn was safe at home, Estill wins 3-2

Wells started for powell pitching a complete game taking the loss. She had I think 1 K.

Gross started for Estill pitching a complete game picking up the W, while striking out 17.


Estill left a load of runners on bases, including had the bases loaded with 1 out and couldn't push any across.

Powell had some runners in scoring position that were left on base.



You can't do that and still win games. Powell County is a solid group and could possibly win a game or two in Region Next Week depending on how the draw goes.
