This is what happenings when to walk on base runners. Without that, this would have be a great game. Credit to JC for throwing strikes and minimizing damage. They are a solid club.

Gavin has been an absolute pleasure to watch. He is so smooth out there. Really going to miss him offensively but also as a vacuum out at SS.

Pikeville finishes the regular season 23-7. Not bad after all of the losses from graduation. Did not drop any to bad teams, but the record against solid teams leaves a little to be desired. Still though, this team is capable if it can get three good starts from the staff.

Pikeville will enjoy the one game this week, and get some much needed rest for their arms.
