Lawrence Co. the number 6 team in the 15th defeats West Carter the 13th ranked team in the 16th. A bit of oddity in this one in that the two met earlier in the season with an identical score of 4-3 with Lawrence on top in both at home. Coach Feltner takes his Dawgs to Allen Central in an add on game that could be dubbed the 500 game. A victory will put the Dawgs dead- even going into District play. Good luck to the Lawrence Players and Fans as they end the regular season.

a lot of new faces in the lineup. got off work in time to watch this game. i believe lchs had three 8th graders in the lineup and played a fourth as a pinch hitter. also a ninth grader started in right field (he usually just pitches). those young guys played hard and really injected some enthusiasm in the team it appeared. looked like lchs played as a team for the first time all year from what i have seen. coaches and players slapping high fives and and smiling. that was the best part of last night.
