Notre Dame 5, Newport Central Catholic 1: Sophomore Maria Schaefer had an RBI in each of Notre Dameâs three scoring innings to help the fifth-ranked Pandas come away with their 12th victory in their last 13 contests.

Schaeferâs RBI single in the third inning capped Notre Dameâs three-run outburst that pushed the lead to 4-1.
