DIXIE HEIGHTS 10, LLOYD 0 – Senior shortstop Megan James tripled three times, driving in three runs to pace the Colonels.

James belted a two-run double in the first inning to give Dixie Heights the early lead, and she added a run-scoring double in the third.

With two outs in the fourth, Colonels freshman third baseman Mary Beth Odom drove in two runs with a single to help put the game out of reach.

Eighth-grade right-hander Bailey Spencer picked up her fifth shutout of the season for Dixie Heights.
