Did McNamee Make The Right Move?
#6
I'm glad that he made the decision that he did. Mac is a good coach and a great guy. However I am very happy with Coach Jackson and his coaching staff and I am excited about the future of Panther football. I really believe that Mac can turn Pike Central into a winner if he stays there for a while. Pike Central has nice facilities and I would say there is enough athletic talent walking the halls of Pike Central that if Mac coaches them for a while they could be pretty good. I don't know what the current little league is like for the feeder schools of Central but that is where it starts and if I were Coach Mac I would make all possible improvements for the feeder programs....the same goes for East Ridge and Shelby Valley. With the new Pike County Central Middle School that is being built next to the high school up on Buckleys Creek(when is it supposed to be built?) Mac should have the chance to get in with the kids at a younger age and get them excited about Central football.
