tvtimeout Wrote:You really going to talk about infringing rights...patriot act...Do you realize that a large majority of Democrats voted for the Patriot Act? Do you realize that it was renewed under the Obama administration? Bad example.
tvtimeout Wrote:Religious Right does not set policy...gay marriage, abortion issue, war on drugsWhich administration is currently cracking down on medical marijuana operations in California? Do you think that the religious right is calling shots for the Obama White House?
tvtimeout Wrote:Again, you never point out Romney's record...why?This election will be a referendum on Obama's performance as president. All I need to know about Romney is that he is a capitalist who believes in American values. I know that Obama is a polarizing socialist who trashes traditional American values at every opportunity and whose policies are destroying our economy.
tvtimeout Wrote:Again, I said that I disgaree with the left with fiscal policy...you keep ignoring that point. You are arguing out of both sides of your mouth with different voices. You cannot simultaneously say that there is no difference between the policies of Democrats and Republicans on the one hand and criticize Democratic fiscal policy on the other. Not all Republicans are fiscal conservatives but almost all fiscal conservatives are Republicans. Ron Paul is a Republican.
tvtimeout Wrote:AIMO, the government is way to massive cuts across the board, redefine the tax code...aka... get rid of it, would be a good start...There you go again, smearing Republicans in your childlike way, in the same post that you claim to oppose Democrats' fiscal policies and oppose the religious right's social policies. Which is it - are they one party with two names or are there important differences between the two parties philosophies? It cannot be both.
Republicrats never will, again look to past examples i.e. 2001-2008. Controlled both houses and white house in the early part of those years.
tvtimeout Wrote:I also believe a person has the right to fail, the left and the right do not...bailouts on both sides. No one calls anyone out on this...sad.Yes, they do and those who do are Republicans. Name a fiscal conservative who is a Democrat currently serving in Congress or in the Obama administration. Just one.
