Scott County overcame foul problems and rolled by John Hardin 61-40 in the quarterfinals of the Sweet Sixteen Friday night in Rupp Arena.

The Cardinals (33-5) advance to play Oldham County (30-5) in Saturday morning’s semifinals.

Scott County senior star Tamron Manning spent most of Friday’s game on the bench in foul trouble. He had 6 points in very limited play.

Cards’ senior star Isaiah Ivey led the winners with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Also picking up the slack were Quin Richardson and Trent Gilbert with 11 points apiece. Gilbert also had 7 rebounds.

John Hardin was led by Daveon Greene with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Price had 10 points. The Bulldogs shot 29%, including 2-for-15 on three-pointers.http://www.kentucky.com/high_school/#navlinks=navdrop
