I thought both teams looked a little gased at times thoughout the game which was due to the physical play. I expected a very physical game and they not disappoint in the least. JC and Ashland enjoy a pretty intense rivalry due for the most part to their clashes in district play during football season in recent years. In JC's case it is really hard to compete with two players out of the lineup but they gave Ashland all they wanted in the first half when coach Biggs pulled three starters to make a point and JC went on a 8-0 run.
