You rent and you don't believe in paying your electric bill. You tell your electric company that you will not pay the electric bill in the future. The electric company says it will accommodate you and make your landlord pay the electric bill.

What will your landlord do? Obviously, he will raise your rent to cover the cost of electric bill. Now, who is actually paying for the electricity? Obviously, you are still paying it.

This is identical to Obama's "accommodation". The Catholic organizations will still be paying for the services that they believe, and I believe, to be a sin. If the Catholic Church leaders and true members buy into this deal, they are both ignorant and hypocritical and have lost all credibility.

Sacred tenets are absolutes. They don't change. They cannot change. The Catholic Church preaches this every day. It is time for the Church to practice what it preaches. Otherwise, it has no validity.

By the way. You Protestants aren't entitled to a free pass on this issue either.

Do you not think that the people on this board that are going to vote for Obama care about this birth control thing? All the whining in the world isn't going to change anybody's mind, and you already have the vote of the ones that care. That's what I find funny about all these "bitching and whining" political threads, you are preaching to the choir. You have probably 95% of the vote already sowed up, as far as BGR goes. There is only, maybe 5 of us total that are even close to being on the fence, and all the right wing propaganda in the world isn't going to change our minds. I'm just glad that this board, and Kentucky doesn't elect the President. You might try posting this on "the site that shall not be named". At least the ones that aren't banned from it should.
