Looks like we'll have to agree to disagree. East did face some good competition in the Lex Cath Tourney, but Scott County is having a down year at 11-15 and Owensboro Catholic (16-10) is in another weak region (the 3rd). Simon Kenton is good but only 14-9 out of the 8th region. Of course Manual is a dominant team and would paste any team out of the 16th. Fairland is also a very good team. But, I'm gonna stick to my guns and still say that Ashland's schedule is by far the toughest 16th region schedual.

I guess we will agree to disagree. Simon Kenton just beat Newport Central Catholic, who beat Highlands by 17. BOTH Newport Central Catholic and Highlands beat Ashland. Scott has played a killer schedule which contributes to their record more than anything. They just lost to Mercy by 4 last night after leading by 10 entering the 4th quarter. Mercy just beat Manuel a couple of weeks ago. Didn't get to go to the game but I heard Fairland is REALLY good, not just good. And you mentioned scrimmage games, I believe East Carter also scrimmaged St. Joe WVA. Like I said before Ashland has played a VERY tough schedule and is the best team in the region, but to again to say their schedule is the toughest BY FAR, you're still WAY off base!!
