BUCKLEYS CREEK — Once Pike Central’s inside post play took charge it was lights out for Betsy Layne.

Kassidy Prater and Cassidy Campbell combined for 33 points to lead the Lady Hawks to a 45-38 win over the Lady Bobcats at The Hawks Nest on Jan. 30.

Central, now 14-6, avenged an earlier two-point loss to the Lady Bobcats, who struggled offensively against man-to-man pressure.

Betsy Layne’s Timera Thacker scored 12 points while Paige Watkins and T.J. Tackett chipped in eight each as the Lady Bobcats fell to 9-10 overall.

Cameron Blackburn added nine for Central, now 14-6
