The Republican leadership has been to the left of the rank and file fo a long time but the reason that Romney is leading is that he can afford to outspend the other GOP candidates by a wide margin. If Romney gets the nomination the vocal right wingers will be disappointed, but we will still celebrate when the Obama regime goes down in flames on election day.
