You know--I don't think that this is a stupid statement at all. I understand the "eye for an eye" thing--but I just don't feel like the God that I believe in would believe in such hypocritical behavior.

It isn't right to kill anyone. Don't get me wrong--but there honestly have to be better ways to make an example out of the behavior that causes a person to kill someone. Or--if they are going to execute someone--they need to put it on TV one time--and it would probably eliminate a great deal of crime that is punished by capital punishment.
