Stardust do you think BG will be as strong next season as they were last season? They did graduate 29 seniors and 13 of them were linemen. Hollis is also gone from the offense and they will return,according to thier roster,only 11 seniors. That's a big drop off in experience. In their defense,they do have 28 juniors to be coming into next season and with a roster of over 90,at least,there must be alot of talent.

I'm not Stardust, but if you want an opinion...

I think BG will be just as good next year. It sounds crazy given the losses they have, but there are two things that Bowling Green ALWAYS has with Kevin Wallace at the helm:

1. Teams that get after you and play excellent defense
2. Teams that can run the ball, and get that 3 - 4 yards per play needed to control the chains.

This year BG was highly successful with the pass. Scooter Hollis completed 66% of his passes. Next year won't be any different in that BG will have a strong passing game even with Hollis gone. Hayes will be back and will be a solid QB. He completed 25 of his 38 passes in limited playing time this year. I think the loss of Tight End Jalen Hunter who had 26 receptions and 9 touchdowns will hurt, but Necarius Fant (56 receptions for 1,162 yards and 9 touchdowns) will be back for two more seasons. The passing game should once again be very good, and I know even with all of the losses that the run game and the defense will be rock solid. Should be another big year in Bowling Green.
