Sometimes teenagers just make mistakes. It happens. People ask for justification or explanations, sometimes there just aren't any that we can find acceptable. I as a parent am keenly aware of my childs mistakes and also his accomplishments. My prayer is that his accomplishments will well out weigh his mistakes, and that he will learn from his mistakes. I hope as an adult and a parent I can see beyond childhood errors in judgement and help my child grow into a productive happy adult. Certainly negative press and the constant rehashing of a childs errors are good for noone. Seth is a good kid, I have no opinion on his supposed infraction. Hopefully if he truly did wrong he will learn from this, and if he has been wronged he will learn from that as well. Life is hard, we all know that. But, hiding behind screen names and pulling others into ones issues is just not a good thing.

Very nice post Lisa. With everything out there in the world for a child to get into nowadays, it's amazing that most of them turn out as good as they do. It's a challenging world for a teen ager in this day and time and one that I dont envy them having to experience.
