I may be in the minority on this but, things like like that are a cancer to the team. Openly posting on social networks that you would rather play a guitar and hang with friends insted of working hard at the position to get better and make others around you better sends a message that your heart is not into it and the team. The confidence level of his coaches would diminish greatly not to mention his teammates. That's is just my opinion and if it were me as the coach he would have been a spot player the rest of the year unless he went full out in practice to show he wanted to be a part of the team. I think alot of it was more about the middle school players were being called on to play in critical situations. Again just an opinion.
