Kentucky Coach John Calipari not planning on staying at Kentucky 10 Years

Or a Tubby. Cal said this from day one, and at least part of it is
tongue in cheek. But if things go as well as they look like they
will, a super run of tne years with multiple FF's and a title or
3 might be enough to satiisfy him.

The important thing is to think ahead and be planning,
and to use some JUDGEMENT on the next hire instead
of going with the flavor of the month as we did with
Tubby and Gillipsie. Eddie Sutton was another HORRIBLE
hire that SHOULD have bee EASILY foreseen. Even without
the probation problems, he was a TERRIBLE choice for
UK. And but for pure luck we would have been stuck with
PJ Carlisemo for god's sake, instead of Pitino.

The UK's admin's record on hires is NOT distinguished
since Joe B. left. Even our great hire of Cal was more
in response to public pressure on Barnhardt, than
him doing his due diligence and getting it right to start
with. I realize we were desperate to get rid of Tubby,
but come on.
