The one thing that bothers me is that the officals knew 20 minutes after they got the info that the miners were alive that it was false information. I understand that they wanted to get conformation on the numbers but they should have at least told the families that they were having conflicting reports on how many were alive.

I felt the same way last night. At least come in and let them know that much so they could prepare for the worst.
