We all know as well as you do if He would've played he would've had atleast 100 yards, not saying Belfry's D is bad, but it's just Ace, I don't understand why your going to say "In his face" but I mean he would've put up 100.:igiveup:

Central couldn't block Belfry up front and the Pirates were hitting the backs in the backfield with 2 or 3 defenders nearly every play. Could he have reached 100 yards?

Most certainly... Wales is such a strong runner and makes such good cuts he could've broke a long one and shed the contact. Belfry did a pretty bang up job on JJ Jude and he still went for 120+ because he was able to break a long one to help his stats.

Does this mean he definitely would have? Not necessarily... the Pirates were finely tuned to shut down the run that game and were playing with a chip on their shoulder. According to some on here in the lead up, the Central backups were not a huge dropoff from Wales and they were essentially shut down.

We will never know because Dixon lit him up early.
