Actually I don't think it's going to matter to recruiting much either
way. A decade ago, the top recruits felt they HAD to go to
the NBA to justify their ranking. Since that is no longer an
option, Cal is on the verge of turning UK's recruiting class
into the replacement for that. Many of the top kids
are going to start viewing being in Cal's recruiting class
as the same thing, though it will be even MORE exclusive
than going to the draft out of h.s. was. And changing the
rule to 2 years instead of one, isn't going to make a whole
lot of difference in that.

I can see your point, Kids are no longer worried about going pro to make a living, If they make it to Cals recruiting class they get the pay day anyway! nicker:
