Glasgow vs Holy Cross (Covington) (2A Championship)
#22
Rooting for Glasgow pull this out, but I think HC will just be too much for them.

When Somerset and Glasgow played, Somerset was still trying to decide who would be quarterback, between a sophmore who had traditionally played QB but was not quite ready and a senior runningback who had barely played qb since middleschool, but was a great leader. The turnovers, mainly interceptions, came from the team testing both out, trying to see what would work. I don't think they came from stifling defense as much as two kids still trying to learn how to play qb. Not saying their defense isn't/wasn't great...I just think the turnovers were much more attributable to lack of experience than defense.

Don't know how many, but I remember that Sublett kid running the ball nearly every single time for Glasgow. He was a beast, but they seemed extremely one dimensional. Unless their passing game has dramatically increased....I cannot see them being able to win and just run it up the middle with that same guy over and over. Somerset's running game up the middle was nearly shut down by HC. Don't know much else about Glasgow and their offense since then, but they better have revamped it or I don't see it working.
