Last season: 15-16, lost to Western 93-62 in 21st District semifinal.
Player to watch: Forward Kendall Hammerstrom (6-3, Sr., 13.8 ppg., 4.0 rpg.). âKendall knows the game and works well without the ball,ââ Durham said. âHe comes off screens well and shoots the three well. He needs to get to the foul line more.â
Other top players: C Dylan Bickell (6-2, Sr., 2.5 ppg, 2.0 rpg.; G Jake Kaelin (5-9, Sr., 6.4 ppg., 2.0 rpg.); G Norman Ellis (5-9, So.; G Cody Couch (5-10, Sr., 5.4 ppg., 2.2 rpg.); G Justin McGohon (5-11, Sr., 4.7 ppg., 2.0 rpg.); F Blake Keith (6-0, Sr., 2.9 ppg., 2.0 rpg.).
Outlook: âOur six seniors played a lot last season and along with them we have a very talented sophomore class,ââ Durham said. âThat gives us a lot of optimism for the upcoming season. If we can find a way to neutralize our disadvantages in height we could have a good year.ââ
