After listening to the last couple weeks threads on people complaining of blowout because of the 6 classes and how 4 teams shouldnt go to the playoffs from each district because some only have four teams and you can go 0-11 and still make it, I think you'd be surprised at how many teams were blew out in the second round, maybe just as many, and in it could happen in the Regional championships as well.
Its called parity, and currently in this state, theres not that much of it. Just another reason to keep it like it is and keep 4 teams from each district in the playoffs.

So 26 out of the 48 games (exactly half) were decided by 3 scores or more, most of them were decided by 4 scored or more.
So what should we do cut another round off?
What if next week half of those are blowouts?

My point is KY will never be less than 6 classes ever again so the argument to take it back down to 4 classes is dead and useless to talk about.
IF you shorten the playoffs, then most of the region championships will be blowouts and just as many as the second round percentage wise.

However, coming from some of your points of view, if its really that disheartning to see this the only reasonable thing to do would be to add 3 weeks to the season and name a regional champion after the regular season to go to the playoffs which would be 2 rounds, however in a class like 3A, are you going to have teams like Bell and Corbin travel to places far away liek Louisville Central and teams in there district 3 or 4 times a year? No.
