Should a coach be allowed to grab his players??
#23
"DTA" Wrote:I have noticed several threads about coaching and things they should not do such as grabbing and playing rich kids. First of all I would like to say this is how much times have changed. Parents and kids always want to blame a coach or a teammate. I agree coaches should not grab a player in anger but I want to add that players and parents should respect coaches more than they do. Coach Martin has seen some rough times over the past few years, mostly from parents. Should players be allowed to talk back to coaches,NO but those same players talk back to their own parents so it doesn't matter. What ever happened to "Do what your coach tells you, work hard in practice, respect your elders and always show spotmanship. It is the I generation, bottom line:Sad04:

That may be the best post that I have ever read in the basketball forum . . . .
