They finish 9-2 on the year.
Heck yes it paid off. For one, Ohio County played the same people they are use to playing every year and a 9-2 year can only improve the morale of your program throughout the school and community, thus gaining more interest and getting people excited about playing football in Ohio County again.
Ohio County has only won one playoff game in school history as it is.
Most of your fans in every community don't know and don't care if you beat a team that's on a 10+ game losing streak or Trinity. You know what they care about? Wins. And wins generate excitement. You think Chuck Smith scheduled the state's elite when he was laying the building blocks at Boyle? He11 to the no.
Great job this year Ohio County.
